I love the show Castle and watch it every week. The latest episode had Nikki Heat come to life- they are filming a movie after the book in this episode. Well anyway when the 'author' sees his character literally come to life he realizes his fantasy has come true. She is everything he imagined, and created, her to be.
This got me thinking. What if the characters I create really could come to life? Would I change their appearance? Their mannerisms? Or even their likes and dislikes? No, I wouldn't.
Which character would I most like to actually come to life? I would definitely have to say Angel from Angel's Wish. She has always been one of my favorite characters. She's so sure of herself. A little rough around the edges perhaps but aren't we all?
So go ahead- make your choice. If you could literally bring a character to life...which one would you choose?

I have so many books that I like, that I really don't know of one character that I would have come to life. I really like the Robert Parker character Spenser and when the TV show Spenser for Hire came on I fell in love with Robert Urich as the character. Again, I like the Alex Cross character, but then he was cast in the movies by Morgan Freeman and I thought that was perfect. There are a couple of characters in Robin Cook books that I would love to see come to life, but I don't know there names off hand... I just love medical mysteries and policemen with a heart. I'm a softy. :-)
I think it would be hard to pick just one...I would want to see all my characters come to life...See what they are like..
By the way I loved the eppy of Castle....But nobody beats the real Nikki, The Detective will always be her since she is based on her...

Josie Lopez, my character in Spanish Rose. She's not only smart, (criminal defense lawyer,but she's pleasing to the eye.
That was a great episode. And Castle is one of my favorite characters.
I'd love to see the JD Robb characters Rourke and Dallas come to life. Now that would be awesome.
As for my own characters, I would love to see the Peacekeeper crew come to life. The family-type banter always makes me laugh and I wrote the stories. LOL
I love Castle too, so interesting and such a hunk! Thanks for stopping by everyone. I do agree, it is hard to pick one character that you'd like to come to life. Can you imagine if all of the characters came to life at once? Who would get along and who would not? Hmmm, something to think about.
I would bring Cole Turner from Nancy Henderson's book Wicked Redemption. Holy Hotness Batman!
