He could always turn her himself and be with his love until the end of time. He could forget his want to become mortal again--all for love. But this would involve condemning the woman he loves to the curse of immortality. He's watched everyone he's every loved wither and die before him, and he hates it. He wants to live and die. With her. But in order to live, he must turn her.
But what if he found another way? What if he found a way for him to be turned and for her to remain mortal? Would death be worth it? Would doing everything in your power for the one you love be worth dying for? That's the question I'm posing today.
What would be a better ending? Should he turn her and they both live immortally every after? Or should they find a way together to live out their lives as mortals, and die together as is the balance of life? I'd love to hear your thoughts. I'm on the fence with this one, so please let me know which way you'd prefer the story to go.
Please let me know your thoughts. I'm really interested and I need to know which direction to take this story. Who knows? You may just be the one who sways me and ends up writing the ending for this story. Your opinion matters!!!

Very interesting question, Allie. (Love the blog layout, by the way! I hadn't been over here before, but I will definitely be coming back.) :-) Thanks for letting us know about this at MTRWA!
Okay, here's my 2p.
Either way you do it will involve death, right? I mean, either they both have to die to live forever, or they both have to die at the end of their mortal lives. So for me, it's really about how much he loves her. Supposedly, the allure of vampire romance is that you get to be with the person you love forever... the eternal happily ever after. But I think that for a person to have immortality before them and to give it up to live and die with the one person they really love is a much more noble and romantic gesture.
Before him is the choice of the eternal kiss. But does he love her enough to seal his own fate as well as her own. If he makes her immortal and tires of her, he can always find another. But if he makes himself mortal in order to be with her and tires, he has still given up his life for her, in a manner of speaking. And sacrifice is always romantic.
Again, that's my 2p. I'm looking forward to seeing other answers! :-)
He has quite a choice before him. I prefer the living to the undead so I guess I'd like him to find a way to become mortal while leaving her mortal too. What an interesting way to look at the situation!
Thanks for the posts! I'm leaning toward the mortality angle, mainly since there are so many vamp stories out there that end with both being turned. I think it would be a pleasant twist to actually living in the end. But, then again, being able to see forever and spend it with your soulmate does have it's advantages.

Have you written this yet, Allie? I always think it's interesting to find out what the characters tell you. Clare
