As many of you know I've started writing sweet romance under the name K. Starling. Why the name alteration some of you may ask... well, I wanted readers to know what they were getting before they got it. Let's admit it. I write some fairly x-rated stuff. I wouldn't want someone to buy one of my books expecting paddles and bondage and have them read about Sweet Tea Maggie who blushes at the mention of a kiss or a man in her bedroom. I certainly wouldn't want a reader to be thinking hot dungeon play and then buy Celtic Destiny and get knights on white horses. It would be totally terrible if a reader wanted multiple bodies slapping against one another (like in Robert's Story or Swing Pointe) and they got Kismet, the sweet romantic tale about two elderly people who fell in love before WWWII but didn't hook-up until a high school reunion seventy years later.
Sooo, k=klean=no sex! Got it?
I love variety in my music, friends, and in my reading. I'm hoping some of you do also and will try out my alter ego.
