I'm brand new to the MSA Group, and already I'm late on my very first blog posting. Oy!
By the way, I tried to position the covers strategically throughout the post, but they all showed up like this. Sorry about that!
Okay, now that I have that out of the way, let's talk about our favorite topic--men. That tall, dark stranger new to your neighborhood you are just dying to borrow a cup of sugar from (in nothing but your sexiest, slinky black robe, no less). The misunderstood, sexy-as-sin men who keep to themselves, and that you secretly want to have lick your toes. You know the ones I mean. These are the men we all write about, or at least I do.
All of my heroes are larger than life, and I love them. Tim McGraw coined the perfect phrase to describe my men. "I may be a real bad boy, but baby I'm a real good man." Every time I hear that song, I have to fan myself. I'd love to have that man sing that song to me wearing nothing more than his sexy cowboy hat. But I digress...
I think heroes need to have a hint of badness in them. The badder they are, the better. If the hero is holier than thou, I lose interest in them right quick. Give me a hero who is into pushing sexual limits. I'll drool over a hero who draws the sexual wildcat out of my heroine. In my books writing as Eve Adams, I like to have more than one hero focusing all their baddy attention on the heroine. Maybe they'll tie her up (concentually, of course) and tickle her with a peacock feather as a form of sexual torture and stimulation.
What kind of heroes do you like? What is it you crave to read about the men in the books you want to read? What about your favorite books? What is it about the men in those books that have you hooked? I want to know!
On a side note, as an apology for being late, I'm posting the never-been-seen-before cover for the sequel to the bestselling Under the Covers. If you enjoy bad boys who turn into really good men, then don't miss the Covert Lovers series. Here is the cover for Between the Covers. Enjoy.

I do like bad boy heroes, but I like 'em smart too. And if he's a little bit of a smart ass, I like that even better. :)

I like all types of heroes but the bad ones are a lot more fun to read for sure....
