Ever since the whole Amazon thing it seems like Twitter is the new in thing. I even have a Twitter account and set one up for Dark Diva Reviews, hey promo is promo. But every time I see an email from them saying such and such is following you on Twitter, all I can think is such and such is stalking you on Twitter. I know it’s silly, but I feel weird with all this social networking. You don’t know the person on the other end of the network. Not to mention you have to watch what you post. I’ve heard I don’t know how many stories of courts using blogs or myspace as evidence against someone. I even read about a guy using his wife’s facebook as an excuse to divorce her. Pretty freakin crazy, if you ask me. The thing is it seems people are more willing to write the truth when they feel no one knows who they really are. I’m not sure if that’s good or bad. But if I was doing something I shouldn’t you wouldn’t see me Twittering about it. Sure these sites are great for promo and I’ve gotten back in contact with people I haven’t seen since high school, but I’ve also seen people use them for evil. A friend recently separate has been keeping tabs on his ex via myspace. Granted she’s either lying to him or her myspace friends, but still I find it creepy. Seriously if people watched us in the real world like they do in the virtual world they’d be charged with stalking. Yet some people seem to thrive on putting it all out there for the internet to see. And I mean ALL out there. So what do you think social networking or stalking sites?

I think the stalking thing is weird...I also think it is getting out of control with regards to what people are doing....
I guess with technology and all these places comes trouble..
