Oh My, I Am Sorry!

Dear readers I do apologize.

I was supposed to post this morning and I completely spaced it. My only excuses were that I was writing on my newest book then I had to go into the dayjob for a few hours to get caught up on some work.

As for what I have to say today?

I love movies. I don't attend very many during the school year due to my dayjob, but I overload on them during the summer and get the dvds of many when they come out. Today, although I bought the dvd weeks ago, I finally sat down and watched Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. And Oh MY!!

I liked Lucian in the first movie, but I really loved his character in this one. The story was so tight, fast paced, and despite my knowing the outcome, very satisfying in its conclusion. And Lucian--yum. The guy may not be Hugh Jackman/Wolverine tall and sexy, but there's a lot to be said for sexy short guys. LOL

Have to admit, the "altered" history regarding clothing, weaponry, and such was tolerable--I've gotten used to Hollywood and the Independent films screwing it up, but it was interesting to see how many of the characters that were with Lucian in the first film became what they are and how important Lucian was to the werewolf heirarchy.

Bloody and violent, yes, but I've come to expect that from the vampire-werewolf-supernatural creatures genre of film.

Next on my plate, Star Trek, Wolverine, and Night at the Museum 2.
