On my group the other day, we were talking about euphymisms and pet peeves. Then, the conversation naturally got redirected on words for the male and female anatomy.
Some do not like to use the the word cunt, some don't like to use the word "pussy", or "cock". Etc. Me, I don't think any of it really bothers me, but the "P" word kind of gets me. It feels dirty, and not in the good sense.
I've found that talking to many people, women don't like the "c" word in deference to the woman's vagina. Me, it doesn't personally bother, but I understand why these women feel this way.
Then, someone brought up the word "fuck". When used as an insult, yeah, it's pretty derogatory. But in the middle of an intense scene, where the guy is fighting his emotions for her, and struggling with the fact that he likes her, it can be pretty intense. For instance:
He heard her words, listened to her talk endlessly about her boyfriend, then what was she doing here with him? At last, he could stand it no longer, he reached across the table and growled. "Fuck you. Fuck you for making me desire you," and smashed his lips on hers.
That was off the top of my head, but see, written like that, it can be a turn on.
So, I know this subject is old, but what about you guys? What are your pet peeve words, and is there a way it can be used to be erotic? Feel free to give example!

I'm okay with any and all words in the grips of passion but I don't see a lot of use for them otherwise. I sometimes get a character who curses but overall I try not to use these in my writing.
As a reader I deter away from excerpts and blurbs when every other word is a curse word. But hey that's just my southern upbringing.
