Over the last week there has been a ton of hype regarding Twitter......I think it has exploded over the last few days to the point where it is all over the news and there are battles going on for how many tweets people can post...
You are now seeing celebs and news media using the site to keep in touch with the world. They have started to do few minute features to read comments that get posted on their page with replies to topic and events that are affecting the world.
The topic of Twitter comes up in conversation more and more. People are flooding to it to keep up with friends, celebs and the rest of the twittering world.
It is interesting to see how much influence a site like twitter can have. People are using it for more than just networking. Twitter is getting used to do a whole lot of good. Spread the word about things that will benefit others.
In case you are wondering, yes I'm on the Twitter craze. I got sucked into it.

I think every year there is a huge craze that sweeps the net. My Space, Facebook, Bebo and all the other networks all went through a time where they were it.
Time will only bring the next big thing.

Definitely part of it! It's a way to keep in touch with fellow authors, reader, and causes I care about - all of which happen to be related. No surprise there!
Personally the hype doesn't bother me one way or another; maybe next year a new networking craze will be a better way to accomplish the same thing - until then, follow me on twitter @adrianakraft!

Twitter tweet tweet..lol I am loving it. But I have a feeling it will fizzle out like the others.

So far I'm loving it, Savannah and only been on a few days. It's amazing what you can read. :)
I'm signed up ... but I don't check in on a regular basis (and it's down right now from overload lol). I'm not a blogger. I never kept a diary. And I'm probably THE worst pen pal on the planet.
I just don't have that much to say that I think others would find interesting most of the time. I guess I don't think people really want see the day to day boringness and sameness that comes with my life.
I'm more a reply type person than a blogger type person, I guess LOL.
I must say I for one will not get into the Twitter, since it's just another Myspace, Facebook etc...while it's great for people to promote their work, share their thoughts etc, besides that it's just another social networking. But great blog Savannah!!!
I like Twitter because it is more out there. You have everyone chatting and putting out their opinions and it connects you so much more to the people out there.
I signed up for Twitter, but when I saw a notice of how they had to check for a worm virus scare a few days earlier, I deleted my membership pronto.
There's so much to do now with posting excerpts and keeping up with editing that I felt the time I spent on Twitter, tied me down.
