Getting tugged on

I spent the week at the Romantic Times conference in Orlando. If you're following me on Twitter, you already know that. Ok...so I went a little nuts with the tweets. If you're not following me on Twitter, come on over. twitter.com/wendidarlin

I loved so many things about the conference, but what I loved the most was the diversity of people who attended. We may have looked nothing alike on the outside, but we were all there for the same reason. We love having our emotions tugged by stories. We may not agree on genres, but we're all responding similarly because on an emotional level we're more alike than different. Isn't that a nice thought? Or are you scared? Very, very scared??? LOL

Maybe the only people who weren't there because they loved having their emotions tugged, were the poor models who I'm sure got tugged on much more than they wanted to. I'd like to thank each of them for their sacrifice to the cause. It sure was nice having them around. Whew!

Here are a couple of pictures of me tugging on a couple of the Mr. Romance winners, Charles Paz and Stefan Pinto. Both seem like very nice men and I'm thrilled they got to carry home trophies.

Charles Paz is Mr. Romance 2009. He also won the Reader's Choice award. Stefan Pinto nailed 2nd place in the Mr. Romance competetion.
