First off, let me tell you about my latest release. Don't Spank the Vamp became an immediate bestseller, hitting the list in just 48 hours! I was so jazzed with it, happy to see my readers were interested in seeing the added scenes, heat and emotion. I love this story, birthed from a simple workshop comment at RT. To read where the idea actually came from, check out my Samhain blog at http://samhainpublishing.com/blog/2009/02/11/and-just-where-did-the-title-don-t-spank-the-vamp-come-from.
But here is a quick blurb about this fun story. Check out the excerpts at http://cjengland.com/dont/dontspankthevamp.htm
Dawn is so focused on making a name for herself in the art world, her personal life has fallen into a rut. She spends far more time with her hands in clay than on a man. Then her friends liven things up by taking her to a toy shop for her birthday. A very different kind of toy shop for special sexual games. And there’s more than sexy entertainment on the shelves—a fortune teller says Dawn’s destiny awaits if only she will reach out and take it.
Aidan is a vampire who has existed for over a century searching for his one true soulmate, his twin-flame. One look at Dawn takes Aidan’s breath away. One kiss later, he knows she is the one woman who will sustain him forever—if he can convince her to walk with him on the wild side.
Dawn responds to his inspiration better than he could have hoped. Then she goes one toy too far…

Now...let's talk about vacations. I won't be blogging next month because I'll be in Ireland!!! Well...actually on the 23rd of March I will be standing over the anvil in Gretna Green, Scotland, with my honey, renewing our vows!
I'm so excited. We will be gone from March 5th to March 29th and will be traveling all over the England, Scotland, Ireland and if we have time, we might nip over to France so Jonathon can check out the Normandy beaches of WWII. (He's such a guy!)
I'm hoping to post my travel log when I can. When we have computer access, we'll take advantage of it and let you all know what's up, but we are mostly staying in B&Bs so not sure what will be available.
I've got a great contest going on for this vacation. You can win some wonderful prizes, brought back from the UK! Interested? Check it out at http://cjengland.com/contests
Oh, and don't forget my free read! It's getting close to the end and the situation is going downhill fast! Enjoy it at http://cj-england.livejournal.com/
You all have a great rest of February and take care of yourself in March! I'll be back next time with a ton of cool news and travel pics!!!!
Hugs,
CJ England

You are so lucky to be able to travel. I've never left the continental US. I haven't even been to Mexico and I live in AZ.
Have a great trip and bring back lots of pics for us!
CJ,
Congrats on the vow renewals!! I do wish you would post a blog from ireland though...nothing like a Johnny-on-the spot report from an author!
Yup! So jealous! LOL Have a great trip and I look forward to seeing your pictures and hearing or reading all about it. Phylis
Hi CJ,
Catching up on Monday's emails from the S. Cafe loop and saw you were here. Don't know if I'll have time for travel contest, but I'll try. Not only are the prizes fantastic, but just browsing the different site to go is educational in itself. Hope I don't get lost in the research though, as is my usual tendency.
I just got a copy of Don't Spank the Vamp, so I'll be emailing you in a bit. It was interesting the way the title and story came about. You just never know where those little exercises at meetings or talks with others will lead.
Have a fabulous trip,
Julie
