While we were chatting, my writer friend asked me what my favorite combination in a menage is, i.e. m/f/m, m/m/f, f/m/f, etc. I thought about the question but I honestly couldn't give an answer. To be honest, I love it all and I've read some wonderful books in each combination.
The first menage I read was The Arrangement by Emma Wildes. It was f/f/m and extremely sexy. The characters were well-drawn and the menage made sense within the story. Reading this inspired me to write my own f/f/m which is currently in the first draft stage.
And then there was Battered Not Broken by Celia Kyle which features some seriously hawt action between one woman and three brothers. (no touching between the brothers, just to be clear).
Of course, I can't leave out the m/m/f. Tawny Taylor's Double Take is a great example of this. I love to have a little m/m action in my books :)
So what's your pick? If you're a writer of menages, what combination do you write? And if you've never read a menage before, go buy one!
Before I go, since we're talking about menages, be sure to check out my werewolf menage Beauty and the Beasts which releases from Loose Id on September 30th.
Have a great September everyone!

wow Ava,
I would never have known *wg* So I'm thinking I can do MMF or FFM. I've already done MFM and MMM....
I've done FFM and MFM. Usually, I write erotic contemporary romances. The two above were for eXtasy fantasy games series.
Sure you didn't know Sascha *grin*
I've done MMF. I really like that. MFM or MMM works for me too.
If I read menage I usually read m/f/f or f/f/f, but hey that's just me! :) Great topic.
