I feel so alive at this time of year that I have to bore everyone with my rants. LOL You’re probably wondering what I’m talking about. We’re just on the threshold of fall where I’m located. My favorite of all four seasons.
I can’t wait until the trees begin changing colors. Vibrant reds, brilliant oranges and golden yellows with a sprinkling of green leaves that haven’t changed yet dot the landscape for as far as the eye can see. If you stand back and gaze off in the distance, the forest looks almost like an artist captured its beauty on canvas.
Winter comes in second for my choice on seasons. I love the snow making everything look pure and crystal clean. Once the snowplows attack the snow cleaning the roadways, the pristine look is gone. All you have is a big pile of slush.
Next comes the springtime. This is a great time, as well, with new buds sprouting and flowers shooting up out of the ground in an array of colors. Everything looks fresh coming to life.
I hate to say that summer is not one of my favorite seasons. The humidity makes it so uncomfortable. If I could live in an area with only three seasons, I’d be the happiest person alive.
I’ll end this blog with this question. What is your favorite season?
Be sure and check out the blog next month. Some of the authors at MSA will post Fall Flashers during the month of October. Fall Flashers are short stories of 500 words or less. I’ll post mine along with the rest of Midnight Seduction Author’s. I’ve read a few of the stories and they are entertaining.

I live in KY and I love the changing seasons. I don't care for the extreme cold but other than that it's all good.
I'm looking forward to the Fall Flashers too. I've almost finished mine.
I love the changing of the seasons also. Fall is so beautiful with the leaves, festivals, bonfires, and camping without the air!

Kissa,
What I like about fall is not only the colors, but the crisp air and the thought that Halloweend is just around the corner. My favorite holiday.
Laura,
I'm with you on the fall season. There isn't another like it.
I can't wait to read your Fall Flasher.
I like fall and spring, the possibility of warmth, and cool. Fall more, the rains don't' really start in earnest until a little later, usually. But it can rain all the way through spring.
When it is 80 in the fall it doesn't feel as hot as August heat.
My favorite season is spring, because the flowers start coming out and it isn't too hot or too cold.
Unfortunately, here in the good old Midwest, spring lasts about 2 weeks. We pretty much go from freezing cold to hot and humid, lol.
Saroya,
I love a rainy fall season with a little nip in the air.
Cassandra,
I'm from the Midwest and noticed the same thing lately. If you blink, springs gone
I only get one season here in Florida -- Summer! I crave and miss fall. Every year, mid-summer, I start looking at recipes for Thanksgiving and planning holiday stuff. I don't like winter, but fall...sigh...

Oh, Wendi,I feel for you with only one season. I can't imagine living anywhere without all four seasons, even though I'm not a fan of summer.
I think I love fall and winter. Most of my playlist is dedicated to winter-ish music (darkwave, ebm or blackmetal) so it all fits in!
