I love fall! Labor Day for me marks the end of summer and the beginning of a new season - bright colors, crisp days, leaves crunching under my feet, new smells, new places to go and people to meet.

Here at Midnight Seductions we’re celebrating fall with a month long Reader’s Retreat at CoffeeTime forums, where we’ll be hanging out all September long with covers, trailers, excerpts and of course prizes and conversation. Hope you’ll come join us!
October will usher in a month of hot short stories - “flashers,” we’re calling them - right here at our blogsite, one each day from a different author!

And then we’ll spend November gearing up for an all-out December party to celebrate our first anniversary! Tess MacKall and I formed the core author group in late November 2007 and launched Midnight Seductions in December. Keep your eyes on this spot for news of how we’re going to celebrate that!
Speaking of new - any time our authors have new releases, there’s always a party at our Mid night Seductions Reader Group. It’s a great place to hang out, meet our authors, get the scoop on what’s coming next, and maybe win a prize.
How about you? What do you love about fall?

Just wanted to add my thoughts and prayers for everyone in the path of Gustav as it slams ashore today.
The Romance Studio has created a forum where anyone affected by Gustav or trying to locate a fellow author can post. It can be used to post information on whereabouts, how folks can
help or what help is needed, or just for sharing stories.

Adriana,
Since fall is my favorite season, I loved your blog with the pictures of the changing colors on the trees.
I want to send my thoughts and prayers to all in the path of Gustav.
Hopefully, this time the storm won't take any lives as it did with Katrina.
Thanks, Mary Ann! That Northwoods lake is one of my favorite spots to retreat and regroup when I need a fresh start of my own!

Fall is my favorite season. I love the colors, no more mowing, being able to go outside and enjoy the fresh air without a heat wave going on.
So true, Kimmy - my hubby especially likes the "no more mowing" part. End of the heat waves isn't too bad, either!
