This seems to be the summer of the superhero. Due to my hubby's love of superhero movies, I've seen Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk, and I'm sure we'll be seeing Hancock, Hellboy 2, and The Dark Knight. Fortunately, this enables me to see lots of hot guys, since most superhero movies feature sexy actors. Can you say Edward Norton and Christian Bale?
All of these superhero flicks have started me thinking--a dangerous thing indeed! Would it be better to be an ordinary person with extraordinary tools and suits, like Iron Man or Batman, or would it be better to have inborn abilities like Superman? What about guys like Bruce Banner/the Hulk and Spider Man, whose powers are created by science gone wrong?
And what would be the coolest superpower? There are so many to choose from: flight, speed, strength, durability, invisibility, x-ray vision (lol), shapeshifting, telepathy, telekinesis...the list goes on an on!
So what do you all think? What's the coolest superpower? Which one would you choose to have? How would you get it?

Just give me telekinesis and x-ray vision. I'd sure like to move things out of my way in a long line at the grocery store or in traffic. Now x-ray vision could bring a conservative out of their shell with just the right scenery to explore. LOL
I'm not sure how to get either power, but it would be nice to have them.

I'd definitely choose x-ray vision. And with my x-ray vision, I'd go see The Dark Knight and enjoy the sight of Christian Bale from every yummy angle :)

I love super heros! I think as a kid, they gave me someone to look up too, and look at the world today, just a little bit more crazier.
My fav of course is Wonder Woman, Yeah *Grins* She had it all, immortality when on Paradise Island, super strength, jumping, those awesome bracelets that deflect bullets, a you must tell the truth lasso, and a tiara that can be turned into a bumerang.
Yeah, I want that *Grins*.
Lol Mary Ann and Ava Rose! X-ray vision could be fun. Of course, you could see some things you don't expect...
