Friday has swung around at last, and it sure is one heck of a feeling :) The weekend is here. That means shopping and date nights and nightclubs and lazing in front of the TV. And writing, of course.
This weekend, I have a lot of writing to catch up on. Three stories (in three separate genres) are vying for my attention right now. I don't know what to start with and I think I'll probably end up putting the titles in a jar and pulling one out. It's the only way to make the decision.
Before I start writing, I'll need some inspiration. And that comes in one form for me. Pictures of hot men ;)
Below. I have some hotties who are currently acting as my inspiration for my works in progress.
Matthew McConaghy has a starring role as Cade Dresden in my cowboy menage which is set on a ranch in Texas. When I first starting writing about Cade, Matthew's picture filled my mind. And here's the perfect one.
Next up, David Gandy. He's a model who did a commercial for Dolce and Gabbana. When I picture Zach Marsden, my hero from His Lying Eyes, a romanse suspense, this is the guy I see. Yum, huh?
Josh Hopkins will play a supporting role in His Lying Eyes as Zach's best friend. I'm pretty sure he'll get a book of his own as he's just too hot to ignore.

Mmmmmm.....see what I mean? This is all the inspiration a writer will ever need?
So what about you? If you're an author, what do you use to inspire you? If you're a reader, what hot actor or musician or model would you like to see in a book?
Have a great weekend everybody!

Matthew does it all the way for me.

Lovin' all the eye candy, Ava! I get inspired my pictures of hotties, too. And music. Especially country music, since that's fitting with most of my stories.
Do you keep these pictures posted near your desk (or wherever you write) while you're writing?

I have to admit I am not a visual person at all. I have a hard time picturing places and people I've never seen. This makes character descriptions kind of a pain for me, but I generally don't picture characters as looking like famous hotties. Maybe I ought to try that so I can have some sort of visual...
And thanks for the eye candy :)
Mmmmm, great eye candy! Matthew McConaghy works just fine for me! Yup, we use pictures to inspire us, too. It helps our characters be real in our mind's eye, especially with two of us working on the story.
